To enable all talented students to join our academic community, including those from non-EU/EEA countries who might be struggling financially to pay the institutional Radboud University tuition cost, we provide a number of full scholarships.
In addition, the scholarship pays for your stay in the Netherlands through liability insurance (Aon Student Insurance), health insurance, and a residence permit. You may get a rough sense of the cost of living and studying in the Netherlands on our website.
If you are selected for a scholarship and admitted into a two-year master’s program, kindly note that you must have finished all of the first year’s coursework in order to be eligible for the grant again the following year.
It is not possible to combine the Fulbright-Radboud, NL, or Radboud Encouragement Scholarships. Although you can apply for many scholarships, only one will be given.
Applicants are only eligible for the Radboud Encouragement Scholarship or the Partial Radboud Scholarship Programme. The applications for these two scholarships are closed. Get more information on the “Fully Funded Radboud University Scholarship in the Netherlands for 2024.”

How to go about it?
When you apply for admission to a Master’s program through the OSIRIS Application system, you can indicate that you would like to apply for a Radboud Encouragement Scholarship. Following that, you will need to upload the motivation letter for the scholarship, two reference letters, and your curriculum vitae (you can use the same references and CV if you submitted them with your application for a master’s degree).
Being accepted into the Master’s program does not guarantee that one will be awarded the scholarship. Rather, there is no mutual dependence between these two procedures.
All nations outside of the EU are eligible to apply.
All of the university’s courses are eligible.
