United States Fully Funded Scholarships in the South Pacific 2024
The Fully Funded US South Pacific Scholarship is open to all citizens of the Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. It is offered for bachelor’s and master’s degrees in subjects that are essential to the development of Pacific island states. The deadline for mailing in your application is January 15, 2024. The State Department of the United States is the sponsor of this fellowship.
The U.S. Department of State offers scholarships to students enrolled in master’s and bachelor’s degree programs at the University of Hawaii that are designed to satisfy the developmental needs of Pacific island states. Among the focus areas are STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields; agriculture; education; public administration; public health; NGO management; business; gender studies and related fields. Advantages of the Scholarship
The following benefits will be available to those who are chosen: housing payments, a monthly allowance, university tuition and fees, and a moving-in allowance.

Qualifications for Scholarships
The prerequisites for the fully funded US South Pacific Scholarship are listed in the list below:
- The US South Pacific Scholarship Program is open to citizens of the Cook Islands, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, and Vanuatu.
- Applicants for bachelor’s degrees must have completed their secondary schooling by the deadline for undergraduate applications at the university.
- Candidates who have completed undergraduate coursework that falls short of a four-year bachelor’s degree obtained in the US are also welcome to apply.
- Candidates for master’s degrees must have completed a bachelor’s degree that lasted three years or longer.
- Applications for a one-year bridging program are accepted from candidates holding a three-year bachelor’s degree.
- Applicants with two citizenships—one of which is American—are not eligible.
